The Transfer Process
First of all, we need to
get access to your domain name
. Once we've got access, we technically have everything to transfer the domain, however before we do transfer it, we need to make sure all services on that domain are backed up ready for transfer.
Next, we need to
mirror all of the email addresses
that you've currently got setup, on our system. This way, when the domain transfers and your old email service drops, your new email service will already be ready to go!
We don't want you to lose any of your emails, so as to
safeguard your data
we can help you migrate all of the emails in your old mailbox, over to the new one with this.
Once we know all of your emails are safe, we need to make sure your current website shows during the domain transfer. As such, we create settings on the domain prior to transfer that mean
once the domain has transferred, it still displays your live website.
Finally, now your emails are backed up and we know your website won't stop showing, we can
transfer your domain!
