Setup your Emails in Outlook (Classic)

This guide will take you through the process of setting up your emails in Outlook (Classic).

Step By Step Guide

1:
In Classic Outlook, select "File" in the top left.

Select "Account Settings"

Select "Manage Profiles"

This is the best way to add the account, any other method may mess things up.

Select "Email Accounts"

Ensure that you're on the "Email" tab, then click "New" .

Select "Manual setup or additional server types" .

Then click "Next"

Choose "POP or IMAP" , then click "Next" .

Enter the following details:

Your Name - Your Name

Email Address - Your email address

Account Type - IMAP

Incoming Mail Server - imap.eu.appsuite.cloud

Outgoing mail server (SMTP) - smtp.eu.appsuite.cloud

User Name - Your Email Address

Password - Your new password (Sent via SMS)

Do NOT check "Require logon using Secure Password Authentication"

Once everything is filled in, click "More Settings"

Select the "Outgoing Server" tab, and then check "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"

Once checked, choose "Use same settings as my incoming mail server"

Next, go to the "Advanced" tab.

First, change the 2 dropdowns for "Use the following type of encrypted connection" to "SSL/TLS"

Second, change the port number for "Incoming Server (IMAP)" to "993" , and the port for "Outgoing server (SMTP)" to "465" .

Lastly, click "OK"

If you do this in the wrong order, the port numbers will change.

Back on the menu in the screenshot, press "Next" .

If both tasks have a check, then you have set up correctly. You can then press "Close" .

If the task fails, you may have entered some details incorrectly.

You may need to remove the old account and data file from your Outlook if this still doesn't work. Please refer to the IMPORTANT message at the top of this guide before removing the account.

If you still can't add the account, try closing out of Outlook and then opening again.


13:
Choose "Finish" , and your account will be added to Outlook.
