This guide will show you how to link an image to lightbox within the Classic Editor. Lightbox is making an image appear, filling up most of the screen, by just the click of 1 button.
1: Before you start, you will need to have sourced the new image's URL. For a guide on how to do this, please click here.
2: The first step is load up the Classic Editor. Click on ' Content ' on the left menu, then go to ' Pages '. Pick the page you would like to edit and you will see the ' Classic Editor ' button.
3: Highlight the text or image and select the insert link button . This will then allow you to link the image or text on the insert links page.
4: Then it will bring up a menu that states " Insert Links ". To be able to insert a URL link, you need to click External Website on the right hand side.
5: Copy and paste the destined URL from the top of your webpage whether that may be a webpage link or an image link. Then click Apply Changes.
6: Next you double click on the linked word , and click the option " Advanced ". Then type in the word " lightbox ", in order to " Lightbox " your image. Then click apply changes to update the link.
7: Once you are happy with your changes, click the ' Save Changes ' button at the bottom of the page.
